Chris brings more than 15 years of real estate development, legal, tax credit finance, and project management experience to MinimBuilt LLC.  He is President of VNV Development, a firm that focuses on acquisition, finance, and development of residential and mixed-use real estate throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan region. VNV is dedicated to the principles of sustainable building: smart-growth urban site development, affordable housing, renewable energy, and energy and resource-efficient materials and systems. Chris is a founding director and served for eight years as President of GreenHOME, Inc., now Greenspace, Inc., an organization whose mission is to make affordable housing and neighborhoods green (www.greenspacencr.org). Chris was an attorney in the Washington DC offices of Arent Fox, Greenberg Traurig, and Akin Gump, specializing in environmental law and brownfields redevelopment. He has a Bachelor’s degree in anthropology from Harvard University, a Master’s in environmental management and resource economics from Duke University, and a law degree from Cornell Law School.
